Pandolph quilt-top begun !

Okay, the Pandolph quilt is officially under way !

Yesterday's mail brought a replacement piece of fabric, and today, I got to work figuring out my cutting measurements.  My sweet pal, Jodie, even included a new packet of basting safety pins, because she read that I had used too many on my quiltalong sample !

I started out by making all of my red/cream-combination half-square triangles.  I drew them out the same way I did for the Pinwheel quilt, and got them made quickly.
I probably worked about 4 1/2 hours today.........I trim much more slowly now, giving homage to my age, wishing to keep all of my digits in tact !
I find that I now need to sit at the ironing board while pressing all of the triangle-squares open.   Funny how these things creep up on you, huh?
