It took me just over a year, but I finally finished a set out of the
beautiful yarn that was gifted to me by Wanda Gayle for my birthday last year.

I've had the scarf made for about a month, I guess, but couldn't
find a hat pattern that I liked. They're all beanies,
lately, and hug my head too closely.
So,
this pattern
was meant to be a
bucket that flips outward
towards the bottom, but I liked
stopping it at this point. It just sits loosely
on my head, and I like that. I wanted to do some kind
of ripple, but the one I tried wound up looking like some kind of
medieval helmet on my head when it was finished. I think that this
one will serve me nicely, and these are such beautiful, conservative colors
for the winter
season.
They go well with my coats.
i love the colors of this set....you looks beautiful in it
ReplyDeleteWell hello beautiful! What's a nice girl like you doing in a place like this! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up on the new blog...which I love! You look gorgeous! And the hat is to die for. I just had all my blah brown hair chopped off, highlighted blonde and am ready for hats of all kinds! Yippee! Your scarf is lovely! You look like you could go model on the runway, girlfirend!
Bless you, keep you, love you, encourage you and lift you up in His arms as we celebrate the birth of a tiny babe...big enough to hold the whole world in His hands and love through our temptests!
Merry Christmas sweet, sweet soul!
