My treats.......

"Happy" charm pack, QuiltTaffy, Etsy

I decided to reward myself for finishing those two commissions,
These are what I settled on from the favorites over there in my sidebar "wish list". 
Of course, I ordered these before I found out the "layer cake" secret to making
the square in a square quilt.  Now, I'm scouring the 'net looking
for bargain layer cakes !

But, I'm going to add to these and ENJOY them !

Speaking of commissions, I heard from the lady in Michigan today.
She received the quilt and is very pleased..............but she didn't
OPEN it ! 
She said that it was wrapped so prettily that she didn't
dare open it, for fear that she couldn't rewrap it as nicely !
Now, she won't see it until the shower !

    she is on etsy has some layer cakes on sale i bought one and i luv her prices and i bought some other stuff i had been hunting for she had

    heh i was getting tired of the same fabric all the time in the scrap quilts as in when you lived here and i would drop off some scraps to keep you mixing it up!!!! i am actually making a scarp quilt you know the 12" block you fixed for me, but oh how mind boggling, last night i went crazy trying not to coordinate the center with the star points and i think some of them are pretty dorky looking!!! mary is gonna get a treat because they are pretty UGLY

    Oh Dolly, I'm drooling over here! Those are so so so bright fun cheery and pretty! Your two upcomming commissions look like a handful and will keep you busy for a while, but I'm sure will be just gorgeous as always! Can't wait to see your progress pics of them.
