I took these photos of the sock I've been working on..........I don't love it, and I feel, at this point, that I don't want to put so much time and effort into handmade socks unless I LOVE them.
So, I think I'm going to frog it tonight, and choose another design. I don't regret it at all. I needed something to work on at the nursing home, and enjoyed the knitting, so it's all good.
I also took a couple of photos of this little heart-shaped dish that I found at a garage-sale yesterday..........YAY, GARAGE SALES ARE STARTING AGAIN ! It only cost me a dollar and looks so pretty on my bedside stand, holding my watch at the end of the day. Can you see the pretty raised nature of the design in the white area?
So pretty.......it even has a pretty backside !

This post made me smile and cry at the same time! How wonderful that the convalescing is going so quickly and wonderfully! I'm so happy you got to enjoy the warm weather, sunshine and each other!

As for the sock, life is too short to do something you don't love, like you said.

My mom and I enjoy going to garage sales. It's so much fun to find inexpensive treasures. Looks like you found a real beauty!
