“I have given skill to all the skillful, so that they may make all that I have commanded you. “ Exodus 31:6

“O Thou who art the all pervading glory of the world, we bless Thee for the power of beauty to gladden our hearts.
We praise Thee that even the least of us may feel a thrill of the creative joy when we give form and substance to our thoughts and, beholding our handiwork, find it good and fair. “.
Walter Rauschenbusch

"Come, and listen, all you who fear God; let me tell you what He has done for me.
I cried out to Him with my mouth; His praise was on my tongue.
If I had cherished sin in my heart, the LORD woud not have listened and heard my voice in prayer.
Praise be to God, Who has not rejected my prayer or withheld His love from me!" Psalm 66:16-20

Stuck in the home......

...loving it !   Good day for working !

I started off the day with sweeping and mopping, while washing dishes and clothes.
Then I decided to rearrange my bedroom.......I always love rearranging furniture !  It just gives me a real boost.  The room feels brand new, with the added bonus of knowing that you cleaned really well while doing it !
I then settled down to quilting by the light from the bedroom window and got in a few hours.

The first photo shows that I finished quilting that corner.....Woo Hoo.......and up to where the marked vertical lines stop.  I need to mark this last border's lines, but the other end of this border has one hoop's-worth already marked, so I may quilt there tomorrow.

I went ahead and snapped a few additional shots of the quilt while I had good light to show the contours of the hand-quilting.
Pictured above is your basic feathered wreath.........
and below.......
my best gal-pal, Wanda, designed this feather-quilting design for the inside corners of the quilt.  Isn't it fabulous?

  2. Yep, That's your baby !
It's nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel.....my thumb is so sore, I think that that is the reason I'm not making as much daily progress.
