" Do you not know?
Have you not heard???

The LORD is the everlasting GOD,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary,
and His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary,
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:28-31

"The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught." Isaish 50:4

Going my way......

some things......that is !

I received my shirt today and it's just the perfect fit and color !   That's always a nice feeling !  If you'd like to get someone a nice gift, or treat yourself, pay Lavon a visit over on Etsy's website.  She's a doll to work with.......I'll probably have a special request for her soon !

And I actually started knitting a pair of socks on Saturday afternoon.  I won't photograph my efforts yet, as it's been so long since I did this, and I'm thinking that this beginning may be too small to go over my heel.  But I'm loving being back 'at it'.

 Hubbykins has been coming home to spend an hour or so with me, Piper, and China, for the last few days, since I got my nephews to move in the Power-Lift recliner that the landlord is lending us.  IT JUST FEELS SO GOOD TO HAVE HIM IN OUR HOME.....even for an hour a day.  Just a little degree of normalcy returns when I'm puttering around and he's sitting there watching the television.

Love to all of you...............I miss our phone calls, (you know who you are), and I appreciate the card sent my hubby's way (Terri).  Be well !
Oh yeah, Wanda asked about the flower in my header.  That's a photo of a Zinna that grew in my front wheelbarrow in Oklahoma a couple of summers ago.  Beautiful, right?  I had the best flowers there.......and so easy !

  1. Cute shirt and photo of you! Glad your hubby gets to come home for some breaks, that has got to feel good for both of you.

  2. Glad hubby is coming home for visits and soon, for good! I'm sure you miss him and it must be torture waiting for him to come home for good!

    Cute, shirt and necklace! I'm glad things are settling down for you. It's always so good to get back to our idea of normal!

    God bless!

  3. Nice shirt, your hair looks great. I'm so-o happy that your honey is able to be home even for short visits!
    I know Who holds the future, and He's holding my hand right now- yours, too!
    God bless, pokey

  5. Yay - welcome back to the knitting world. Take your time and looking forward to see the socky.

    U look fantastic in your T, fresh and happy :)

    enjoys while Hubby is home. Say Hi.

  6. I love that wonderful photo of your zinnia...it is so beautiful! Thats good that your husband is getting to come home. There's no place like home..especially in times of trials. I liked to read of your knitting. I want to get back to knitting. We 'ran' all day today...shopping. It was nice, but no knitting or spinning got done. I'd love to make a sock sometime. (don't know how...really) I tried once and got so confused! Wishing you blessings, Maggie Ann

  7. Whoops, forgot something...I liked your new shirt too. =)

  8. You look INCREDIBLE in that pic! I am so jealous of you lol. Give Uncle Ted birthday wishes from me and the kiddos and tell Papa how much we love him and I am so excited that he is getting to come home and visit! Before you know it he will be back full time. Love you guys. Kell and Clan
