" Do you not know?
Have you not heard???

The LORD is the everlasting GOD,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary,
and His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary,
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:28-31

"The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught." Isaish 50:4

Horrible news

I still can't believe it's true, but my husband fell on the ice today and broke his hip !  BROKE HIS HIP !

We rode in an ambulance together to the next town over, as our little burg no longer has a hospital.  The x-rays show that the ball in the hip joint was broken into two pieces.  Tomorrow he undergoes surgery to replace his hip, but tonight he is in the worst pain he's ever known.

I know you and love you all so well that I know that you are lifting hubby up in prayer.  So, as I thank my dear Saviour for his healing, I thank all of you for your thoughtfulness.

  1. oh no...i am saying a prayer for him and you right now. i hope all goes well with the surgery.

  2. I'm so sorry! I'll say a prayer for your husband's quick healing:)

  3. Abba, you know your child and the pain he is in. I'm thankful You're with him and there in the midst with him. I ask that Your Spirit would go before the nurses and surgeons as they decide the best course of treatment. You're with their hands and their hearts, guiding them to bring about healing and a relief from the pain. You're such a good Father for being there for Dolly as well. I ask that she would know this and feel Your arms around her. We trust You and know You want only what is best for us.

  4. Holding you close in my heart, girl.

Thanks for stopping by !
