My daughter, Kelley, applied for a teaching position in Oklahoma, where they've resettled, but there is a freeze on hiring them right now. So, she looked elsewhere and has already been hired to work at Dillard's at a very decent starting pay ! She's thrilled and so are we.
This is her Westie, Sophie.....
...Kelley's driven to Dallas today to pick her up at the airport, as she wasn't able to make the flight home with them due to shot requirements.
All the kids are going to be happy to have her back, especially since, even though they brought their cat with them, the landlord will not allow them to have it in the house. Sadly, they need to find a home for it and it is a sweetie.
This is KitKat...she's less than a year old, an orphan that they took in when they found her, starving and cold......any takers, .......Terri, Wanda, JodieAnn?
she looks pretty cool, but gary wont let me
ReplyDeletei want a cat really bad but my sister wont babysit when we are gone and it is too much to take her to the lake. i have been showing gary cat pictures for months and he finally told me the other day he tried to make a deal with my sister to babysit when we are at the lake at her house and she is like i have 3 strays in my house now no more cats so that wont work. there is a group called SPRY or something like that here in OK that will take her and find her a home, she is so cute. wow.
glad for kelly on the job at dillards that is better i think than the former company she worked for better benefits.
take care

What good news that your insurance company is taking care of things! I'm glad for you.
ReplyDeleteWe absolutely can buy dishes just to gaze on!...grin. What is it about dishes? They are so homey and beautiful. I do my grown son's laundry and he pays me a bit...so I saved up and found a wonderful sale..and home I came with two shopping bags full of this design. My almost perfect (grin) husband even talked me into buying the teapot and he bought me two teacups to boot. Can you tell I'm over-the-top happy? =)...I love your header...you make the most gorgeous quilts! You have a gift in this...It shows in everything you make and is a treat to see.
