“I have given skill to all the skillful, so that they may make all that I have commanded you. “ Exodus 31:6

“O Thou who art the all pervading glory of the world, we bless Thee for the power of beauty to gladden our hearts.
We praise Thee that even the least of us may feel a thrill of the creative joy when we give form and substance to our thoughts and, beholding our handiwork, find it good and fair. “.
Walter Rauschenbusch

"Come, and listen, all you who fear God; let me tell you what He has done for me.
I cried out to Him with my mouth; His praise was on my tongue.
If I had cherished sin in my heart, the LORD woud not have listened and heard my voice in prayer.
Praise be to God, Who has not rejected my prayer or withheld His love from me!" Psalm 66:16-20

What in the world do I do with these?

Too much internet influence !
I keep seeing all of these hexes
everywhere,
basted around paper,
but not assembled !

Today I got out an old kit that I had
for making a Christmas wreath
wallhanging.  It has about 50 or so
paper hexes in it, precut and
tempting !

I'll probably take these apart and
try to do something with a
real color scheme......
but boy did I see how you can quickly get a
whole shoebox full of them.
These ARE addictive.

Head on over to Jess's blog to
see how she made something gorgeous with her
hexes.........
and she didn't wait to stitch them by
hand !

God bless all my friends tonight........I
hope you felt the LORD's presence
in your life today !

  3. Dolly, how funny we both had the "hexie bug" at the same time! I was the same way...definitly give the machine piecing idea a try, I cut way too many and now have 50 or so extra hexies that are staring at me saying "do something with me!" I love the bright bold colors you have there, like the first comment, maybe a some potholders? I know I didnt want to commit to anything "big" in case I wasn't liking the assemby of these bad boys...cant wait to see what you come up with! Thanks for the shout out!! :)
